The Mission of the SaddleBrooke Line Dance Club is to provide a positive environment where the members can learn and enjoy the craft of line dance. It is a club for all levels of dance - Novice, Beginner, Improver and Intermediate levels. Members are encouraged by volunteers to learn in both workshops and program sessions. The goal is enjoyment in dance and camaraderie.
SBLDC POST-COVID-19 Re-opening Plan The Saddlebrooke Line Dance Club (SBLDC) recognizes the importance of the health and welfare of its members, but even more so as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Although the camaraderie and social nature of our club are primary to our culture, our interactions do not require close, or direct, physical contact with each other. To minimize coronavirus risk and incidents, SBLDC is taking the actions outlined below. For any SBLDC scheduled events - dance sessions, social events and Board meetings - conducted on any Saddlebrooke (HOA1 or HOA2) property, these guidelines will be followed: The number of participants will be limited based upon the available dance floor space, or room capacity, and in maintaining the 6’ social distance. Participant attendance will be recorded so we have an accurate record of who attended each event in case contact tracing needs to be done at some point in the future. Wearing face masks is highly recommended, in addition to maintaining 6’ distance between participants. Any member not feeling well, is ill, has a fever, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, a sore throat, or a new loss of taste or smell, will be told not attend any club activities until they return to a healthy condition. Members will be reminded to wash their hands often and to use hand sanitizer. Members must provide their own water. Water will no longer be provided by the facility. The HOAs will provide, or make available, sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer for use by the SBLDC within the associated HOA facility. The sanitizing wipes will be used for sanitizing equipment and physical materials, or resources, used by the SBLDB (such as tables, chairs, and the microphone). The hand sanitizer will be used by our members for hand cleansing. HOA-provided equipment such as the microphone, table, and chairs will be sanitized by SBLDC at the conclusion of each session. Chairs, the facility staff place (6’ apart) along the perimeter of the room, must be left 6’ apart and are not to be moved. At the conclusion of each dance session, the dancers will be asked to promptly leave the room; lingering will not be permitted. The session Sponsor, or a SBLDC designee, has primary responsibility for ensuring these guidelines are adhered to. Verbal warnings and reminders will be provided, as needed. The Sponsor has the authority to dismiss anyone who is not adhering to the HOA guidelines or this re-open plan. sbldc_post-covid-19_return_plan_-_hoas.pdf
